Actors are called upon to work on new scripts all the time either in workshops or rehearsals for performance. What are the best ways for actors to support the writing? What are the tools at your disposal as an actor to build character and dramatic action? How can your skills as an actor dig deep and show the writer the potential of the work?
In this two day masterclass you will be paired to work on a new script and explore the skills and techniques needed in these environments. We will talk and explore on the floor ways of building meaning for audiences and expanding your artistry. Acting is an important generative and interpretative skill. If you are interesting in workshopping and developing new work for others or even yourself come and sign up.
