Through being a Sea Shepherd she received a free pass to Jivamukti Yoga Sydney in August 2012, her first class was on the 2nd of August, she decided to be a teacher after her second class, Sharon Gannon (co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga) confirmed her scholarship on the 31st of August 2012 and Karo graduated as a Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher on the 16th of May 2013. She has returned to Sydney and will start running her own Jivamukti Yoga Classes (which will include vegan take away breakfast) from the 12th of July @ The HubStudio in Chippendale and she will run her own workshops & retreats combining veganism, spiritual activism and Jivamukti Yoga, she is planning to stay in Sydney for the year and will travel to Europe to teach next year July & after that will do her 12 week apprentice-ship with her amazing mentor Tina Pashumati James in Whistler (Canada) August.
