Jack Sacks

Jack is a passionate actor from the small coastal town of Byron Bay. As a kid, he participated in the youth theatre company ‘Bright Lights’ in Byron Bay. After graduating high school, he began acting when he started taking scene classes for fun with friends which quickly blossomed into a deep love for the craft, especially screen. In 2020, after dabbling in various university degrees, Jack realised acting was his true path and soon found jumping straight into the industry playing the roles of ’Tom Mulvaney’ in the Stan Original series ‘EDEN’  and ‘Bear’ in the ABC drama ‘Barons’, as well as various commercials. Shortly thereafter, Jack moved to Melbourne to pursue further study, completing various short courses including Screen Acting workshops with Damian Fotiou and Lyndall Green at Brave Studios, as well as Steppenwolf theatre training with Julia Grace and Suzuki Method training with Emma Pursey at 16th Street Actor’s Studio.

In 2022, Jack moved to Sydney to further pursue his passion joining the 2022 Sydney Ensemble and involving himself within the industry as much as he could. Jack remains dedicated to his craft through work and ongoing training, actively involving himself with Acting Mastery’s screen acting workshops, Les Chantery’s workshops and private voice classes with Donald Woodburn. Jack loves collaborating and creating short film concepts with friends. He is a passionate writer and has ambitions to direct for screen.
