Sophie Peppernell

Sophie Peppernell is an actor based on Wangal/Gadigal land. Involved in the performing arts from a young age, she attended The McDonald College of Performing Arts where she trained in acting, music and dance. Once she graduated high school Sophie spent a couple of years travelling around the globe volunteering and worked as a camp counsellor in Tennessee USA. Upon return to Australia she commenced a BA at The University of Sydney majoring in Indigenous Studies and Music. While studying at Sydney University she got involved with the Sydney University Dramatic Society (SUDS) where her passion for acting was rekindled . Theatre credits include; Is This Thing On? (SUDS), It’s Not Creepy If They’re Hot (Sydney Fringe Festival), Cut (SUDS), Samo Is Dead (Seymour Centre), Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (Sydney Fringe Festival). Sophie has been training at The HubStudio for the past two years in their 20wk Emerging Artists Ensemble, various masterclasses and their 2021 Acting Ensemble. Sophie was also a member of Shopfront Arts Co-op Harness Ensemble in 2021.
